COVID-19 Update Center

We value the health and well-being of our students, staff and families. We are sharing this information so you are aware and can help reduce the spread of infection. Preventing the spread of the coronavirus is the same as preventing the spread of a cold, influenza, and other respiratory viruses. Symptoms of the illness are fever, cough, and shortness of breath. This virus can spread from person-to-person and the number of cases detected in the United States and many other countries is growing. Dear CCA Families,

This morning in our staff worship we spent some time counting the positives for this year and what is to come! As we all have been experiencing for the last 5 months, things are ever changing and we experience many disappointments along this road. With that being said, I want to share with all of you that our Safe School, Safe Students plan was not approved by the Chelan-Douglas Health District. We prayed earnestly that God's will be done and that no matter what He would guide and lead all of us. Our faith and trust in His leading has not waivered and we have plans and will continue to work on the plans for opening school.

Right now, we are all getting ready to get on a "bridge" with our distance learning education! This is going to be just a bridge to getting to the other side and being in person for school. There are still some unknowns that we will be addressing as a staff and sending out information to all of you, but this is what we know now:

  • We are committed to CCA, our students and our families.

  • We are praying over our families and humbly asking each of you to stick with us during this time.

  • We will be continuing to praise God for the positives we see and expressing our gratitude to each other, our students, our families on this "bridge" and to God.

  • We are seeking wisdom in our planning, our scheduling and our curriculum as we provide the very best education for our CCA students.

  • We are working at creative solutions and exploring ways to be intentional in our planning of an excellent school year regardless of how it looks.

  • We will follow through on our mission of "Educating Kids to LIVE for Him, with Love, Integrity, Virtue and Excellence."

We will be adapting our calendar to be able to meet with each family individually as we prepare for this "bridge" of distance learning. Once we finalize what this will look like, we will be sending out more information.

Thank you for your continued support of our school through your commitment to CCA and our strong spiritual focus, excellent academic program, relationships we build, family atmosphere and love for each one of our students.

Blessings to each of your families,

Stephanie Gates, Principal
