Academic Excellence

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE (AE) CCA's after school academic study program (known as AE) for students in grades 6 - 12. This program is provided as a study period for students who need additional time to focus on their school work, whose grades may reflect that more help and attention is needed. This is a supervised and structured setting where students have the opportunity to work with their teachers to complete their school work and gain a better understanding of the subject.

Academic Excellence meets Monday through Thursday after the last class and ends at approximately 4:15 pm. AE is:

· required for students whose GPA is less than a 2.0, who have two or more Ds, or at least one F, as evaluated on a weekly basis.

· recommended for students whose GPA is between 2.0 and 2.3,

· available to all students in grades 6-12.

Questions regarding AE may be directed to Heather Fredericksen or Julie Savino.
