    *Education*: B.S. Biological Science (minor in Chemistry), Walla Walla College, M.S. Biological Science, Walla Walla College; Graduate Studies in Botany, University of Minnesota; M.A. Physics Education, University of Virginia.


    Taught chemistry, Chesterfield County, Virginia; Taught science at CCA since 1996.


    *Hobbies/Interests: *Nature study (especially algae), Birdwatching, hiking, guitar, recorders, bagpipes, singing, traveling, photography, gardening, jam making and bee-keeping.
